Closed RP w/ Bruce
Pain. Pain and loss, these were the only thing Loki was registering. The All-Father had thought he was taking pity on his adopted son when he stripped him of his magic and cast him here, many Aesir agreed. Many agreed and thought it was to lenient of the All-Father. So to appease them he had ordered his mouth sewn shut. Only an act of pure mercy and compassion could remove them. He had not been stripped of his voice, but any vocalization vibrated the strings and caused him more pain.
Some thought it was still to merciful, even as he lay on the floor of the grand hall, humiliated and bleeding, but the All-Father did no more before casting him back down to Earth.
So there he lay, in a dark, dirty alley somewhere in a large city, still in pain and bleeding, wondering when a mortal would come by, realize who he was, and kill him on the spot. The All-Father thought to teach his younger son the same lesson his older had learned among the mortals but he knew different. He would either be killed on sight or found by SHIELD.
At this point he didn't know which he preferred.

Now with a new and improved 80+ icons oh yea~
He heard them as they grabbed Loki, clearly seeing without issue in the complete darkness. Heard the scrape of body, felt it leave where he was. What did they plan to do to the Asgardian?
Aaaaw yes
What to do with the other?
Kill him, he is of no use
"No!" Loki had no idea if this would actually help, but he had to try. The only way he was getting out of this was if Bruce stayed alive. "He was the green beast who beset your army. He could be useful."
Silence, oath-breaker.
It began with quiet grunts and gasps of pain. They were a mainly auditory species, and Loki was not about to give them the satisfaction of hearing him scream. He held out as long as he could; it felt like an eternity, like he was falling through space all over again but this time instead of a cool numbing, it was accompanied with fiery pain. White hot energy coursed through him with ever blow of whatever strange device they were using to strike him.
Finally it happened: he screamed. It was a hollow sound that ripped through the darkness and reverberated against the cold stone walls. He screamed more, louder each time, until his throat was raw.
What seemed like hours later they left as they came. The chains loosened and he fell to the ground , a crumpled bloody mess. Again.

travelingrunning from the Army, but never so close up, hot and fresh. He couldn't see the wounds they had inflicted, but he could smell blood strong on the air, hear Loki's struggling breaths. Maybe it was better he couldn't see - couldn't see that his own hands shook as he struggled himself to take it all in.Torture, no matter the crime, was never something he could ever approve of, even on this man that had tried to kill them all and had killed so many. Torture wasn't justice, never would be. It was a crime itself.
"Loki?" Bruce said quietly, feeling the room spin. Whatever they had doused him with was powerful, too powerful, and it felt like lead in his veins.

"You have to fight through the drug, you have to change. They will return and I do not think I can dissuade them from killing you next time. The beast is your only chance of getting out alive."

"Why did you do that?" Bruce asked as he pulled Loki over so he wouldn't choke on his own blood unthinkingly holding the god against his chest. "I'm trying. It isn't something I fully have control over to begin with."

"It is triggered by anger, surly there is something I can do to help with that."

He was fairly sure the Hulk would kill Loki on sight.

Loki knew that all to well. It was a gamble he was willing to take.
"Now come on, you great waste of space, change already. The nine knows it's the only useful thing about you." Get him angry, just get him angry, that's all he had to do.
