[Loki awakes the next morning to the smell of food. He opens his eyes and takes in his unfamiliar surroundings. Sitting up slowly, he tries to say something, but no sound comes from his mouth.

So the previous day had not been a dream. Loki thought himself foolish for believing in the smallest amount that that could have been true.

He stands and moves through the flat. When he enters the kitchen and sees the white-haired man, he remembers who brought him to this place, gave him food and shelter in return for his story.
