When Bruce woke, it was far from a good waking. Instead it was more like waking from the dead and his body was rejecting every second of it. He convulsed on the floor of the room he was in, dry heaving painfully. When he tried to look around he saw only darkness, even as tears built in his eyes as a side effect of his body's distress.
