"I don't belong anywhere." Loki muttered after Bruce walked out of the room. He sat there for a moment, pouting brooding, before he head something in the hall.
He was about to rationalize that Bruce never said where he had to stay, but then he realized that he really didn't care what the other thought and went to investigate.
Sitting just outside his room was a small girl in a pink floral dress. Her gentle sobs reached his ears as soon as he opened the door. After looking both ways to make sure no one could see him, he knelt down (very slowly and somewhat painfully).
"Why do you cry?"
The girl looked up, her eyes red and puffy. "I-I can't find my parents."
Loki looked back into the room. He knew the mortal phone device thing could probably help with this girl's dilemma, but he had no idea how to use it, and she looked far to young to know either.
"Would you like to sit in here? I cannot leave the room or I would offer to help you locate them."
When Bruce got back he would find the door to the room open. Loki and the small girl were sitting on the bed, watching cartoons. Loki had the ghost of a smile on his face as he watches the colorful ponies on the screen. Occasionally he would ask the girl a question and she would answer gleefully.
